Tikit Support Services Gain ISO 9001 Certification

London, 12 October 2009 - Tikit Group PLC, the leading independent provider of consultancy, software and support services to the legal sector, has had its Fareham office support services approved for ISO 9001 accreditation.

Simon Hill, Professional Services Director at Tikit says the rest of Tikit's support services, including its London office operations, are currently in the process of applying for the ISO stamp of approval and should be accredited early next year.

"The ISO 9001 accreditation is an internationally recognised benchmark. It means that the processes behind our support services are governed by a quality management system that promotes, facilitates and enables consistency and ongoing improvements to our services."

Hill says the accreditation is an important milestone for the company which reinforces its commitment to supplying the highest quality support services.

"We have undergone a rigorous and comprehensive assessment and proved that we provide consistently high levels of service for each and every job we undertake.

"For our clients this certification reinforces trust and confidence in the services we provide through globally recognised best practice processes. As an organisation it helps us to improve efficiency in service delivery, and most importantly, enhances client satisfaction".

ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems and is maintained by ISO, the International Standardisation Organisation. Hill says Tikit will now turn its attention to incorporating other ISO standards for security management and environmental compliance.

"We will also work towards gaining IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) compliance. The ITIL framework is a set of best practices for IT service management upon which Tikit already bases its implementation methodologies."
