With a choice of software solutions that are as wide as they are varied, many practices can be forgiven for being baffled by what the IT market has to offer and the relevance to their individual needs. As consumers they may be left feeling misunderstood and their needs not fully met. Of course the people best placed to recognise what they really want out of their IT systems are the law firms themselves but they often don't have the skills to match their expectations. TFB aim to bridge this gap by offering a portfolio of specialised products specifically designed for the legal profession by legal professionals.
Fraser Brown, a longstanding client of TFB can trace its roots back to 1770. As a practice it is accustomed to change, exploiting and developing new technology and as a result of its recent growth and expansion it has gained a great deal of experience in management information. This newly established partnership with TFB is intended to take advantage of that knowledge and provide a base for all practices to leverage the power of the information contained with the Partner for Windows Suite.
Fraser Brown has utilised its own IT services division to design a range of products including a Management Information System, Personnel Management and Financial Services Management. TFB will be able to offer the products designed through this partnership to other clients. This is an exciting development as for the first time other practices and companies are writing software to specifically interface with Partner for Windows. The first product to be released is a Management Information System (MIS) designed to present information to Management in an easy to read, web based format which can be understood at a glance. TFB have long been aware of the need to make it easier for fee earners and partners of firms to extract information from the database and feels that the MIS compliments and strengthens its already comprehensive crystal based reporting structure, which is available from the application itself.
